Daily and strategic management of:

Main work project was the redevelopment of the web site. Achievements include:
- Creation of test web site
- Two rounds of user testing

- Upgrade to a new user interface to the library catalogue, involving customisation of interface using proprietary software and change management

Achievements:
- Scoped, designed and created 2 SQL databases with ASP front end which provided a statistical information database (went online in 2002) and dynamic web access to electronic library materials as well as administrative and purchasing information for all the materials. (online in 2004)

Achievements:
- Designed and created the library's web site in 1996 (one of the first web sites at the University). Under my management, the web site became an integral part of student and faculty staff access to library resources and research information
- Increased the number of online databases from two to over 200 and introduced 1,500 ejournals, including negotiating the access and licences
- Provided the first two internet access terminals in the library and trained staff and users on how to use the internet.

- Developed a learning package for lecturers on internet resource discovery, which was presented in very successful hands-on workshops: the first ever internet experience for these academics.
